The plugin ships with a dedicated document type with full legal metadata (creating authority, legal basis, validity dates, access restriction justification) and the statutory category structure required by the Polish Access to Public Information Act. Every edit is automatically versioned in a tamper-evident change log with SHA-256 content hashing, and IP addresses collected for security purposes are automatically anonymized after a configurable retention period in line with GDPR’s storage limitation principle. Content can be bulk-imported from existing WordPress posts, including their full WordPress revision history reconstructed as a proper version timeline. An accessible breadcrumb shortcode and paginated document listing work identically whether placed on the plugin’s native pages or embedded on any existing page of the site, keeping the rest of the site’s design and navigation untouched.

A separate premium add-on (PST BIP PRO) extends the free plugin with advanced search filtering by document type, status, and date ranges; a WCAG accessibility toolbar with high-contrast mode and font scaling; a public records request register with automatic statutory deadline tracking (art. 13 UDIP); and annual compliance reports exported to PDF or XLSX. The premium add-on is licensed and distributed independently of the free plugin, with its core legal-deadline tracking feature always available regardless of license status, to avoid any risk of a public body missing a binding response deadline.
